I am an artist and life coach and integrate my permaculture designing with my work and life. I often use permaculture tools and techniques for basic problem solving and solution finding in my everyday life.

My focus is on the 'everyday' small-scale designing which has included: designing for moving and improving a house, a kitchen, our yard, our garden, our allotment(s), other people's gardens... I have designed and implemented socially engaged art projects, working in local communities and with community organisations. And have created a range of tools to assist mine (and other's) designing, including permaculture cards and vegetable design cards, creative tools that improve designing efficiency.

I designed and implemented a structured support system for Diploma apprentices which has taken the form of a weekly and monthly forum called 'The Permaculture Diploma Design Forum'. The Forum has been supportive and provided a lot of momentum for apprentices to move along their designs towards completing their diplomas. We have 2 recent graduates and a 3rd nearly there! It is a brilliant learning space for seeing a variety of designs at different stages and for giving and receiving feedback. There are also a wide variety of resources available to support apprentices within the Diploma system.
