Sarah Pugh learned to teach with Mike Feingold and Patrick Whitefield. She co-taught the Sustainable Land Use Course with Patrick and teaches an annual part time Permaculture Design Course in Bristol.
She has worked in Bristol's voluntary sector - as Community Gardener in Easton and Events Co-ordinator at St Werburghs City Farm. She has been involved in a range of community projects from gardens and allotments to conferences and campaigns.
In 2007 she initiated Transition Bristol and led the project for two years. She also trained as a Transition Trainer.
In 2010 she set up Shift Bristol CIC, a non profit Permaculture education organisation and is lead tutor on their one year Practical Sustainability Course. She teaches the Permaculture and the Group Dynamics modules. She also teaches short courses including Effective Collaboration and Urban Shift.
She offers bespoke training for organisations to improve their group work, sustainability and community engagement. She's worked with Bath City Farm, Sustrans, Alliance Homes and others.
She's a lone parent, Urbanite and into keeping it real, including everyone and making Permaculture work where you are.
