Soil Association Future Growers Scheme

Soil Association Future Growers Scheme: now recruiting for six month traineeships and two year apprenticeships
The Soil Association’s Future Growers scheme offers work-based learning in organic fruit and vegetable production backed up by in-depth seminars at farms across the UK.

Future Growers will learn the practical skills needed from experts in the field while benefitting from their mentors years of commercial experience. Alongside this, the scheme offers tailored tuition from expert growers and the support of the wider organic community. Participants in the scheme are granted access to the latest technical support, resources and events to help them along the way.

Previous trainees and apprentices have gone on to successfully set up their own enterprises. Kate Edwards, a previous apprentice says, “It has given me confidence in my skills to farm organically and opened my eyes to the opportunities for new farmers.”
