New Economic Training for Permaculture & Agroecology Projects: Lush Fund with Stir to Action

Are you part of an enterprise or project using agroecology or permaculture models for food, farming, or forestry? Interested in new training opportunities to take it to the next stage?

Stir to Action have partnered with Lush to offer 20 fully funded places on their New Economy Programme for groups working in agroecology and permaculture and the Permaculture Association has been asked to reach out to our members to find groups to get involved.

Berry Lane Cottage LAND learning centre needs a volunteer! Dec -Feb inclusive

We have a permaculture based smallholding in North Cornwall near Bodmin where we have 6 acres of gardens, forest gardens, orchards, pasture and woodland.
We rent in an additional 3 acres of pasture locally.
We have some buildings and we keep dairy goats for milk, cheese, meat and manure, we raise store lambs on just grass for meat and skins, and we occasionally have pigs who are raiders on milk, whey, veg and barley. We keep hens for eggs.

Smallholding near Barnstaple, North Devon.

Space available at our 11 acre smallholding. We grow topfruit and keep sheep. Possibilities to work together on something or do your own thing. There is space for a veg plot or I am thinking of keeping bees again. But open to suggestions.

The smallholding is a couple of miles North of Barnstaple. Rural. You will need transport as there are no buses. No accommodation on site.

Vegetable, fruit, berry, asparagus producers wanted

We are looking for permaculture/no dig producers who would supply us with seasonal vegetables (lettuces and salad greens particularly needed), fruit and berries (mainly strawberries and raspberries), asparagus and garlic. We are looking for an enthusiastic grower who will be able to supply us with increasing volume of such produce, as our customer base grows. We are going to pay you monthly and hope to find a long-term supplier.

Long term volunteering on 18 acre Forest Garden project in Shrops.

Karuna Insight Design is looking for a committed couple to live and work in exchange for accommodation in a caravan plus quality food.
Applicants can consider this as an internship. For this you would have to volunteer for a few weeks before a long-term opportunity is offered. Potential applicants could be taken for anything between 6 months to a year,or more for the right couple.
