Permaculture Educators' Gathering: Schools & LAND Project focus

Summary information

An exciting opportunity for educators in the broadest sense to network & share skills & resources. Diploma tutors, lead PDC teachers, apprentice teachers, LAND Centres, LAND Learners and activists will be able to share knowledge & methods on all kinds of permaculture education, from casual volunteering & speaking to community groups, right up to diploma level.

The programme will have a focus on permaculture and schools (Edibles, a LAND centre, is working with a local school to develop a "Permaculture GCSE") as well as allowing LAND centres to network with teachers and each other.

We will also be exploring the exciting new opportunities presented by the Permaculture Association becoming an accrediting body.

The cost for the weekend will be £50, which includes all food and camping. There are plenty of local B&Bs and we can also arrange couch surfing with local transition folks for a small fee!

Contact Joe if you'd like to book, offer a workshop or would like more information.
