2009 AGM, Skill Sharing & Networking Event

Summary information

Thanks to the 100 or so members that attended the event, the AGM received the accounts and annual report. Philip Blandford and Ed Sears were both elected as new trustees and Tomas Remiarz was re-elected as chair. In addition to the formalities, workshops included:

Three Association sessions – education, research and the LAND project.

Judith Hanna introduced the Millenium Ecosystem Assessment work and proposed the Association join the UN's 2010 International Year of Biodiversity.

Chris March outlined current plans at Plants for a Future.

Lawrence Snook introduced his work on poultry and flow forms.

Suzi High gave a successful diploma presentation with many people complementing her on her very accomplished portfolio of work.
