Tree Planting Weekend at Landmatters Permaculture Project, Devon

Summary information

Weekend of mixed tree planting, mulching and aftercare on an area of new woodland created last year. This year we aim to plant about 350 new saplings of mixed varieties including Oak, Cherry, Birch, Field Maple, Goat Willow and Rowan and do some essential maintenance on the plantings that were put in 2013.

Guests are welcome to either attend on one or both of the days – camping is available for the Saturday night (bring your own tent), or a shared crash space will be offered (you will still need sleeping bag and mat though). Please bring own wellies, gloves, waterproofs, camping gear and spades (if you have them!) We will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on the Sunday. Requested per person cost of £5.00 per day to help towards food costs. (Payable in advance pls) Spaces are limited… to book please call Brainy on 07884033103

Please note – We actively support the use of public transport and shared cars so please consider how you can travel to us in this way. There is a bus from Totnes to within 25mins walk of our community. If driving please offer lift shares if possible for the other people coming. Please also note we have limited available space on site for private vehicles – therefore it is important to let us know in advance if you are considering driving here.
