A Little Patch of Ground perrformance and exhibition, Dartington Hall

Summary information

Now in its third year, A Little Patch of Ground is a pioneering Inter-generational food growing and performance project, led by Encounters

Since April a diverse group of local people age 7-87 have been meeting weekly at The Dartington Hall Estate to grow a Permaculture inspired vegetable garden and eat together.

Participants have also been exploring ideas about food, climate change, inter-dependence and our relationship with the natural world through story telling, writing, drawing and photography.

These different threads will be woven together in an exhibition and multi – media performance presented by the participants, that tells an intimate and very human tale about what its like to live now at this time of ecological challenge an opportunity.
