If so, the Community Composting Network will be hosting free forum events in each area for people to come along to find out more.
The Community Composting Network (CCN) is the UK-wide organisation that supports and promotes coImmunity groups, social enterprises and individuals which are involved in producing compost from green/food waste and using it in their local communities.
The first of these events is the Gloucestershire one on Monday 20th December.
This event is open to anyone, individuals, social enterprises, existing community groups, schools, clubs and associations who might be interested in Community Composting and its associated activities. These include growing activities and recycling, reducing carbon footprints, protecting natural resources such as peatlands and providing small scale local services with a big social agenda.

How can it help my community become more sustainable and resilient in the face of everything from climate change to austerity cutbacks? How do you make great compost and how best to use it?
