Brake the Cycle | Dragon Dreaming | 26th May to 3rd June

Summary information

Brake the Cycle | Dragon Dreaming 26th May to 3rd June

‘Dragon Dreaming’ is a week-long cycle through an alternative Wales centred around permaculture exploring ideas around ecology and food. We’ll be visiting pioneering projects like CAT and off-grid smallholdings for inspiration and reflection.

The Wales tour is a friendly and open ride for first-time cycle tourers. Brake the Cycle rides are open to all — no previous experience of cycling is required — just enthusiasm and an open mind.

An adventure for both body and mind, Brake the Cycle Wales invites contemplation of the inner terrain as we push our pedals up and over verdant valleys and beautiful scenery. We’ll also be a roving, travelling community seeking support, and to support others.

Delicious, and where possible locally sourced, food will be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day and designed to be nutritiously optimal.

Accommodation is a combination of camping and staying a number of eco-buildings, with tours of key permaculture projects across Wales.
