A personal allotment design, starting with creating a forest garden, then developing the annual growing space. By 2013 the forest garden requires +/- 12 hours a year to maintain and 25 hours a year to harvest - preserving the results takes much longer, but we don't buy jam, chutney, wine, pickles, summer fruit or bottled fruit.

Aim: Grow food for a family of 5
Yields: learning; lots of food; a forest garden which is begining to pay off intitial implementation time by proving a low input high output fruit production area; and an annual growing area providing cropping space to reduce family food costs; community; connection to the land we live with.
