Type of job:
part time
Closing date for applications:
Friday, 13 December, 2013

About the Job:

The Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) is the largest voluntary sector provider of adult education courses in the UK. Founded in 1903 to support the educational needs of working men and women, today’s WEA now runs over 10,000 courses each year for adults of all ages and from all walks of life.

As part of our commitment to improve access to Permaculture courses we are currently working in partnership with the Permaculture Association with the aim of expanding opportunities and widening participation across the North West and Yorkshire and Humber regions. We are therefore looking to recruit tutors to deliver the following courses throughout the year:

Introduction to Permaculture

Full Permaculture Design Course (PDC)

Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design

Successful applicants will possess the full Permaculture Design Certificate as a minimum. (Those interested in delivering the PDC or Diploma will need to hold the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design- or have at least 2 years practical application of permaculture in action).
