Are you comfortable working online? Are you confident working across a variety of systems and projects? Are you looking for a flexible working pattern in an organisation committed to good People Care? If so, read on!
The Finance Coordinator at the Permaculture Association keeps all aspects of the finances accurate and up-to-date, reporting to the CEO, Trustees and budget holders on a regular basis. This is a varied, challenging and rewarding post; the Finance Coordinator has a key role in the organisation, working closely with most members of the team, and interacting with partners, funders and members. Responsibilities are outlined in the Job Description, attached.
This post was previously advertised as a Leeds-based office-based role. However, in light of the continuing effects of Covid-19 making use of our office challenging, and because the Association staff team is very well adapted to home-working, we have decided to open up this position as a home-based or office-based opportunity. For applicants outside of Leeds, please note that some travel to Leeds will be required for the initial induction and ongoing meetings. For applicants within the Leeds area, note that while the effects of Covid-19 continue, the ability to work from home is essential.
As an inclusive employer and membership organisation, we want our staff team to better reflect the communities in which we live and work. Therefore we welcome applications from all sections of the community. We are committed to creating an organisation that recognises and truly values individual differences and identities.
We are a small team and we want someone who is conscientious and well organised, able to be flexible, responsive and positive, and prepared to work hard. The post will start with a handover period so that our systems and processes can be passed on smoothly to ensure that the financial work of the organisation can remain stable and consistent during the transition.
