Lesley Martin - Educator Profile

I am a Permaculture Teacher and Designer and did my PDC with George Sobol and Patsy Garrard in 1995. For the next couple of years I worked with George as a teaching apprentice. In addition I did the Certificate in Adult Education with the Workers Education Association and the course entitled Teaching Permaculture Creatively with Skye from Australia. After assisting George on the 3 month Permaculture Plus Program, a project with the WEA and the Goverment Employment Office, working with the unemployed from both the Plymouth and Falmouth area, I relocated to Portugal.
For the past 20 years I have taught all over the country, and was one of the Portuguese representatives on the European Permaculture Teaching Partnership.
I am now based at Quinta de Vale da Lama, a 43 Hectare regenerative Permaculture and Education Project with the goal of Living and Learning close to Nature.
