Do you want to know what on earth permaculture is about? Or are you interested in finding out more before committing to the Introduction or full Design Course? Then this one day taster course is for you! During the day we will have a chance to cover the basics of permaculture. We will take time to explore the ethical framework and the breadth of areas of human activity that permaculture thinking is relevant to. We will begin to look holistically at how we can use permaculture design on the land such as a garden or allotment but also consider the wider applications of permaculture thinking whether that is at home, at work or in the community. We’ll look in detail at a few essential principles of permaculture and how to practically apply them, do some simple observation and analysis exercises, and work together on a simple design.
