Weeds and Wild Medicine

This is a course on hedgerow herbalism through the seasons with experienced and passionate medical herbalists Edwina Hodkinson (MNIMH) and Danielle Kay (MNIMH). We are based at the wonderful Offshoots Permaculture Project in Burnley, Lancashire. The course runs once a month from March until November (except August). Learn to identify, harvest and prepare different medicinal herbs from the permaculture garden and surrounding woods and parkland, then turn them into all manner of different herbal medicinal products such as syrups, salves, tinctures, elixirs, infused oils, aromatic waters, creams and lots more. Connect to the local flora and watch it change throughout the seasons. Learn how to work in harmony with the herbs and nature, utilising them when they are at their best. Gain confidence in using plant medicines to improve your health and treat minor ailments. Connect with like-minded people.
