The Caring for Plants and Trees is open to all people with various abilities and levels of experience
This is a practical out of doors course, and we will be exploring ways of looking after organic vegetables, and techniques for ensuring trees are growing healthy and strong. The course will focus on ways we can increase biodiversity in our local ecologies and how we can grow food in a environmentally friendly way.  We will explore techniques such as sapling care, mulching, seed care, no dig veg beds, natural fertilisers
This is an out of door course, however in bad weather we will have a contingency plan and do some nature based activities under shelter. Hopefully we will mainly be out of doors.  Please being appropriate clothing, sturdy foot wear, a packed lunch, water bottle and hat and sun screen if we are lucky enough to have a sunny day !
