DIY surveying day at Whalley Forest Garden near Clitheroe. Saturday 17 March. This is an informal "hands-on" day outdoors. Planned activities include:
* site observation on the theme of water containment use on site and flood control
* pegging out contours to assist with site design
* how to make your survey instruments from items bought at your local hardware shop.
