Course summary

This course is an inspiring, fun and thorough introduction to Permaculture, ideal for the beginner wanting to get started or as a refresher if your permaculture practice needs a boost! Beautiful location in the heart of Snowdonia, highly participatory and interactive course with lots of practical elements, and the chance to both see real-world applications of permaculture and do some designing yourself.
Offered through Aberystwyth University's lifelong learning programme the course is accredited, and discounts are available for early birds and those on benefits. Non-residential but accommodation is available separately for those who want to come from further afield.
NB This course counts as part 1 of a 3-module Permaculture Design Certificate Course being offered by Aberystwyth for the second time in 2016 - so if you decide to progress to a full Certificate you can then sign up for PDC 2 & PDC 3 which take place at the Centre for Alternative Technology in March & April 2016!
