Course summary

Do you want to take your next steps by becoming a certified Permaculture teacher? And are you passionate about Permaculture and in helping to move the world into a more sustainable and regenerative pattern? Do you want to share your knowledge of Permaculture with others and help create a more sustainable future?

Then this Permaculture teachers training course is your next step! The course is designed for people who already have a PDC certificate and who want to develop the skills and confidence to teach Permaculture effectively to others.

In this course, you will learn:

  • How to improve your teaching skills.
  • How to pass on knowledge of permaculture theory and practice in ways that creates real change.
  • How to start designing Permaculture classes and workshops that suit different learning styles.
  • How to start integrating Permaculture into your lifestyle and livelihood.

You will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced facilitators and to connect with other passionate Permaculture practitioners from different countries and settings.

Why take this course?

Permaculture is a holistic approach to design and management that can help us to address some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, soil depletion, water scarcity, food insecurity and loss of community.

By teaching Permaculture to others, you can help to create a more sustainable and resilient future. You can take your first steps in making Permaculture into a living.

Who can apply to join?

Permaculture is both a design approach and a global movement. In this course we are looking for a diversity of learning. Anyone with a verifiable PDC-certificate can apply to join. Everyone who applies needs to provide a short motivational letter, describing your Permaculture background, how you use Permaculture today in your life, and what you intend to do with the learnings of this course.

How many people can join? And who gets a spot?

The course can host a maximum of 21 learners. If more people apply to join, we will accept those who we see are most eager to help carry the Permaculture approach forward in their daily lives. Everyone will get a notice on November 16th at the latest.
