Course summary

This course is designed to equip participants with participatory Permaculture facilitation skills, as well as a solid understanding of the standard content of an international PDC. Based on their Permaculture experience, participants should be able to co-facilitate or assist on PDCs after this course, particularly courses training adult learners. This course will be taught by internationally accredited permaculture practioner – Caspar Brown.

This will be the THIRD TOT Course hosted by PRI Kenya and International faciliators, this time led by Caspar Brown, at the Swara Plains Conservancy. Swara Plains proved an appropriate and poignant locale to host the country’s first ever training of permaculture teachers in 2014 and the second in 2015, drawing from far and wide a group of amazing people from Kenya, greater East Africa, and around the world. An understanding of these themes was a unifying thread for this very special group, drawn from diverse backgrounds but committed to devising and supporting ways for communities to achieve greater abundance and resilience by maintaining mutually supportive relationships with the ecology.
