Permaculture in Practice

at Monestevole October 21st to 27th 2018

Following on from Monestevole's Permaculture Design Course, we do a week of practical work in Monestevole's gardens, vineyards and orchards. This week is open to anybody, participants of the full Permaculture Design Course as well as those who would simply like to explore the practical application of Permaculture techniques.

The work we'll do will include:

Compost and soil improvement techniques
Preparation of garden beds and planting of winter vegetables
Small scale urban gardening techniques
Tree planting and orchard maintenence
Propagation of native shrubs and herbacious plants in the forst garden and orchar areas
Implementation of large scale water harvesting and management structures
Natural building and plaster making
Olive harvest
