Course summary

Permaculture for Everyday Life is a wonderful weekend Introduction hosted by the East Kent Permaculture Learning Centre at Abbey Physic Community Garden a long time Permaculture LAND Demonstration site. 

A robust bridge from Industrial paradigm to designing the more beautiful  world we know is possible. 
This aims to help us not only in growing food as Permaculture is often thought to be about, it also shows us how Permaculture thinking supports the natural systems and us as part of them to thrive in all aspects of our Life and choices. Living in an industrial paradigm this is not always easy but here is a robust map so we can move towards more harmony and health.

Jo has been developing Permaculture for Everyday Life for 6 years, Inspired by Permaculture founder's RetroSuburbia, A downshifters Guide to a Resilient Life was released in 2018. It incorporates the pattern 3 B's Biological, Behaviour and Building.Over 30 workshops, talks and courses have been ran on this evolving topic. This can also form part of a Full Permaculture Design Course. 

3 B's Biological, Behaviour and Building. Including Permaulture Fundamentals  Observation, Ethics, Principles, Patterns and Design.

Saturday
Biological realm. Love the Land. Regenerative Food growing techniques. Permaculture and food growing. Growing food for biodiversity, Wellbeing and climate action inspired by Permaculture. How to think like a Forest. This day is part of the Forest Garden/ Food Forest series, stand alone and becomes part of the Intro to Permaculture Weekend.
Sunday 
Behaviour. Self care, Emotions. Communiation. Relationships, Community, Economics. 
Building. Water, energy, buildings.

We will learn about Permaculture Principles, Ethics and Patterns. See how they can be applied to your life, land and work. It will include practical, hands on sessions, foraging and many other fun activities that all explore this inspirational and empowering design system. Learn nature inspired solutions

You can expect: Experienced Passionate Tutors, like minded people, experience sustainable food production, people care and beautiful nature at the award winning and stunning Permaculture LAND demonstration site. We may have additional guests and site visits TBC.
