Course summary

This practical, empowering and informative course will bring the possibility of significant and positive life changes. Permaculture offers a perspective on all aspects of building a sustainable future, it encourages us to use our individual skills, knowledge and interests, whilst drawing on traditional wisdom, science and our innate ability to observe and learn from the world around us.

  • Week 1 in May (7 days) will focus on core theory, applications and techniques.
  • Weekend 2 in July (4 days) will be a tour of inspirational projects of Permaculture in action and will include traveling to the Centre of Alternative Technology, Chris Dixon's place Tir Penrhos Isaf as featured on Farms for the future and a couple of LAND projects. It will be possible to bring families/ friend on this.
  • Weekends 3 and 4 (3 days each) will focus on Permaculture Design. 

 

Course participants will be awarded the Permaculture Association (Britain)'s internationally recognised Certificate in Permaculture Design on completion of the course, membership of the Permaculture Association and receive a copy of Aranya's new Permaculture design book.
