Course summary

Permaculture design is all about creating ecologically sound ways of living & working based on observing natural systems and applying ecological principles. It equips you to care for the earth, yourself, and others in ways that are resilient, abundant, and rewarding. It can be a truly life-changing and empowering approach, whatever your circumstances.
This residential course will take place at 3 amazing sites over 3 long weekends - Henbant Permaculture Farm, Blaeneinion (beaver central!) and the Centre for Alternative Technology.
The timetable will be designed to make the most of each venue and follows the approved Permaculture Association curriculum. Teaching will be carried out through a variety of classroom based and outdoor sessions, with a mix of theory and practice. The general approach will be participatory and experiential.
About your tutors Angie & Alice: Angie and Alice have decades of experience in using permaculture thinking and applying it in practice in some very wide-ranging fields of activity – including Palestine, Kashmir & Uganda as well as the UK. They are also established teachers with experience of engaging diverse groups of adults in accessible and dynamic ways.
