Cost £780 Course summary The classic design course taught in the distinctive practical, land-based, style of the Patrick Whitefield Associates team. Held at the beautiful and renowned permaculture venue Ragmans Lane farm in the Forest of Dean. The syllabus is brought to life by experienced tutors and inspiring field trips, further enhanced by delicious organic food and beautiful surroundings. A residential course allows you to immerse yourself in the principles of permaculture, sharing the experience with like-minded people in a conducive environment. You will have the opportunity to choose from two design projects on the farm - a domestic sized garden and a 10 acre smallholding. You'll work in groups and have complete guidance from tutors to create a design that you will learn, experience and take confidence from to go home and practice your new skills in your own situation. Fees cover all costs including wonderful home-cooked meals made from local organic produce (where ever possible); bunkhouse accommodation in a beautiful converted barn or camping with a stunning view and access to all facilities (you choose); teaching and tuition from experienced and inspiring teachers; a wonderful experience and learning that will enrich your life!
