An introduction to a simple, bee-friendly method of keeping bees by John Vendy, a local experienced "natural beekeeper". Learn about the problems faced by bees and how we can help them in as natural a way as possible. See how bees interact with the environment and learn simple steps to support your local bees. The workshop is part of Meadow Connections festival, a three day long celebration of upland hay meadows held at Lower Winskill Farm near Settle, North Yorkshire. The ticket entitles you to choose two out of 6 different half day workshops repeated twice throughout the day, 10-12.30 in the morning and 2-4.30 in the afternoon.
