Course summary

Stepney City Farm in London’s East End is a working farm and Rural Arts Centre.They embed permaculture principles into the running of the farm and it is an excellent demonstration of a project serving its local community.

The course is an interactive workshop looking at the foundations of permaculture and learning about some of the practical tools it offers.

The weekend offers a balanced combination of theory and practical learning.

• useful design methods
• observation skills
• forest garden design
• put into practise what you learn on a real life design challenge in a supportive environment

We support the local community by offering free places for the volunteers at the farm and subsidised places for those in need.
