Course covers agricultural, social/political facets of Permaculture. - Composting, plant propagation, swale digging, land restoration and reforestation, hands-on practical design skills; map-making, land assessment and consultation, - alternative economies, community mobilization, activism and strategies for an Alternative Nation. - Overview of biodynamic farming principles and practices will also be covered. Verdenergia has areas at differing stages of reforestation so you can see before and after of Permaculture design, put newfound skills to work, whether beginner looking for an in-depth introduction to Permaculture, or intermediate practitioner finetuning design and system knowledge with a hands-on design project. Full use of VerdEnergia’s gorgeous grounds (beautiful vistas, swimming holes, jungle trails and a few humble waterfalls), living in open-air dormitories or private rooms, enjoying the yoga/dance studio, library and spring-fed swimming pool, 3 delicious veggie meals a day.
