Course summary

Have you ever wondered whose been nibbling on that nut? Whose is that scat? Or what wildlife might be visiting your garden?

Then, join our Nature Reserve Manager Ryan, as we explore the woodlands and hedgerows at Denmark Farm looking for tracks and signs of wildlife.

This is a very basic introduction to wildlife identification and tracking. We will have a look at and discuss some of the items found in nature, which are on display in our Wildlife Discovery Room, and spend time walking around the site looking for tracks, signs and discussing what wildlife we see here at Denmark Farm.  The course is suitable for anyone aged 16 or over.

We will also be running workshops in Identifying Trees in Winter, Identifying Trees in Summer, Identifying Trees in Autumn and Intro to Wildflower Identification.

Please bring a packed lunch. Tea & coffee will be provided. Please also bring suitable clothing and footwear for the outdoors as we’ll be wondering around the nature reserve.
