Are you concerned about climate change and future generations? Are you interested in changing how we interact with other species, ecosystems and our human communities? Then our Introduction to Vegan Permaculture Course is for you! Applying permaculture design thinking to your cruelty free lifestyle, this weekend will focus on design skills – learning to see patterns in nature and in human and social contexts. It will give us the tools and confidence to take responsibility for our lives and actions whilst ‘doing least harm’ to our earth and her inhabitants, whether human or non-human. This course will give participants; Ability to define the term ‘permaculture’ within a vegan context Ability to give a number of examples of non-animal based permaculture systems in action Ability to describe a number of examples of interconnections in human and natural systems Ability to state the ethics and principles of Veganic Permaculture Ability to develop observation and pattern recognition skills Ability to set personal permaculture-based design goals Experience in practicing permaculture design processes and methods Who is this course suitable for? Open to all – no previous knowledge or experience necessary. This course will be of particular interest to those who would like to know more about permaculture design without the use or exploitation of animals and the environment. Vegans and vegetarians are especially welcome, although following a vegan lifestyle is not a prerequisite for attendance!
