Course summary

A wonderful experiential weekend learning Permaculture basics - Ethics, Principles, Design Tools to re-imagine your life, your garden, farm, community or any project for sustainability, regeneration and abundance - its not just for gardeners! We have had excellent feedback from our previous courses and continually enhance the course content which is based on the well tested Permaculture Association curriculum. You will leave with the tools to get started, your first design and hopefully inspired to deepen your knowledge.

The course is quite intensive but thought provoking, fun and motivational too, it includes group work, films and slideshow, class room sessions and outdoor sessions with contributions from members of the residential community. If you have a project in mind already bring details otherwise we will help you identify a first project.

There are many examples of permaculture in practice at Braziers Park and it is a beautiful and restorative 60 acres of secluded Oxfordshire countryside to enjoy.

Community contributions may include short talks and demos on any of the following:

Organic food growing
Compost making
Food storage and preserving
Community living
Group process work
Scything
Renewable energy
Water harvesting
House History Tour
RISC Roof Garden

The course will take place in the main house, dinner at extra cost and B&B also available with 3 tier rates (book early). On Saturday evening we will enjoy a big campfire if dry, musical or other contributions welcome. See also our August listing based in the grounds and converted cowshed classroom with camping available and nearby B&B. Limited concessions available for people on low incomes.
