Course summary

Haye Farm in picturesque Worcestershire will be hosting a 2 day, comprehensive introduction to permaculture with experienced trainer and Permaculture Magazine writer Wade Muggleton.

We will cover the general framework of Permaculture, including design work, ethics and the principles. You will also have a chance to see our forest garden as part of the course and there will be a visit to Wade's own permaculture garden. Both the farm and garden are registered LAND demostration sites. Haye farm is a second generation family farm, with 50 acres of traditional pasture land, orchard and hay meadow grazed by rare breed sheep (wiltshire horn) and cattle (dexter).

Permaculture aims to develop natural self-sustaining systems and based upon the ethics of caring for people, planet and our combined future. You’ll learn about these principles and how to apply them to your daily life.

We will be incorporating material on healthy living and are also open to catering for the interests of attendees if they contact us in advance.

Bio for Wade: Wade Muggleton has been into Permaculture for over 25 years, his own garden Station Road Permaculture Garden is one of the Permaculture Association’s LAND demonstration sites and shows what can be done with a very ordinary plot behind a semi detached house.
