Course summary

This course will explore contrasting Woodland environments, tree identification and classification, the history of Forest Gardens and Permaculture. students will get the opportunity to make a simple permaculture design on the forest garden at offshoots permaculture project and help in developing this area, utilizing different propagation techniques, tree pruning, thinning, and exploring the concepts of building soil, layering and zones. students will also get to take home propagated trees/shrubs.
