Dates and times 9 May 15 More info 10:30 - 15:30 Cost Free Course summary Visit out permaculture demonstration site, see the organically grown vegetable beds, forest garden, composting zone and come for a beautiful walk through the surrounding forests. All are welcome to come and have a day in the garden helping at the Laya Point Permaculture site. Hands on learning is a great way to gain confidence with gardening with the friendly support of friends. It’s a great atmosphere to enjoy friendly chatter and swap experiences. Children are welcome as long as they are with an responsible adult. Together, we’ll get stuck into a variety of activities such as sowing seeds, transplanting seedlings, flipping compost, transplanting forest garden plants, mulching, weeding and feeding. Or any group task that’s easier with many hands. Bring lunch to share. There will be tea breaks and plenty of time wax philosophical amongst the garden beds and over lunch!
