Course summary

Come and join Aranya (Author of Permaculture Design - a Step-by-step Guide) and Tony Martin for an educational and fun 2 weeks of learning and practising permaculture design techniques.

Over this 90 hour 2 week residential course (non residential also an option) you will not only learn about the theory of permaculture, but will get a chance to experience and "play" with systems such as wood chip heated showers and clay ovens.

Set in a forest garden created from 5.5 acres of pasture land in the South Wales countryside it is situated near the Brecon Beacons and has good public transport from Neath and Swansea.

Teachers.
Aranya has served as a trustee of the Permaculture Association (Britain) for five years (2000 to 2005), the Interim Diploma Development Team and Diploma Working Group (2005-2012) and currently serves on the Education Working Group. He is now a Senior Diploma Tutor, and has taught over 65 full permaculture design courses plus other courses in the UK and abroad.

Tony Martin purchased 5.5 acres of mainly pasture land back in 2004 and has planted over 12,000 willow trees, 500 fruit / nut trees and bushes all grown organically using permaculture techniques. He is passionate about alternative energy, reducing waste, efficiency, recycling, creating a forest garden and sharing knowledge with others.
