Certified Permaculture Design Course in Portugal

This is a 72 hours certified course that covers all aspects of Permaculture as detailed by Bill Mollison (co-founder of the movement and author of "Permaculture: a designer's manual"). The course will touch all elements required to design a complete human settlement and will include topics such as food production, resource management, project management, soil, agroforestry, animal systems, appropriate technology, personal permaculture, people systems and social permaculture.

The course will include a final design project and the handover of the PDC certificate upon completion and presentation of the final design.

Eduardo Terzidis has years of experience as an international permaculture designer and consultant. He has learned and worked with designers like Geoff Lawton and Kay Baxter and visited regenerative projects in more than 15 countries. Only in the last year, more than 150 students have graduated with him and many of them are now active members of the international permaculture community.

The course will be held at Lalaland, an emerging non-profit project in the Algarve (south Portugal) with a focus on land and social regeneration through the demonstration of permaculture practices, the establishment of community gardens and an active alternative school for kids.
