Build A Roundhouse - 9 days

Learn how to build a roundhouse from start to finish in 9 days.

You will be instructed by experienced tutors in the various stages that are required to complete this low impact building. We expect that you will leave our course with the skills required to have a go at your own project. Some of the areas we will be covering include:

Site overview – assessing a site before starting building work
Low impact foundations
Principles of roundwood timber framing
How to construct a reciprocal roof
How to build a green roof
Straw bale walls
Building with cob

Concessionary rates are available for those on low income, in receipt of benefits, single parents and full time students.
