In this two day course you will learn theory and practice for boardwalk construction from start to finish. Join experienced Countryside Skills Tutor, Peter Drake who will guide you through the whole process. Topics covered will include: siting your boardwalk, design options, considering ‘access for all’ and practical carpentry. This course would suit landowners, landscapers or conservation professionals looking to improve their skills in access works. Beginners are very welcome.

All tools and equipment will be provided as well as plenty of hot drinks and biscuits. Please come dressed for cold and wet weather and bring a packed lunch.

Fees:
