Forest Garden Course, Scottish Borders

A 2 day, weekend course, running twice a year, in spring and autum

Forests are self-fertile assemblages of mutually beneficial trees, plants, fungi, animals, birds and invertebrate. Come and look, learn and be inspired by Scotland's only mature forest garden. This weekend, 2-day, course will run in March and again in October.

Venue

Garden Cottage is a ScotLAND Centre and a twenty five year old forest garden fully equipped as a teaching space with major improvements to our household in terms of energy efficiency. In a single year we have grown over a tonne of food in less a fifth of an acre, produced all our own firewood and half our electricity. It is also a working plant and tree nursery.
