This training is aimed at permaculteurs who intend to teach or associative animation in the field of permaculture is based on the impressive experience of the Australian Robyn Francis, educator and one of the most famous pioneers of Permaculture.

Prerequisites: This course is reserved for holders of a Permaculture Design Course Certificate.

The trainer
Robyn Francis is one of permaculture’s most experienced educators and facilitators, since 1984 she has conducted over 120 PDCs, plus hundreds of workshops and short courses ranging from bamboo building and botany to ecovillage design, community facilitation and advanced permaculture teacher training. Robyn is also an experienced facilitator of community participatory processes, transition workshops, and has developed a range of creative tools for participatory learning. One of the key architects of the Accredited Permaculture Training™ (APT) qualifications with the Australian accreditation authorities in 2003, and has designed the curricula and training programs for Certificate III, IV and Diploma courses at PCA.

Participants: This course is intended for permaculture teachers and community activists who want to lead permaculture workshops or events, facilitators, etc..

Location : Le Moulin de Hosdent, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Valleys of the Burdinale and Mehaigne, Braives, Belgium.

This is a unique course encompassing aspects of the 'People and Permaculture courses and the teacher training course that Looby has been running for the last 6 years.

The course vision is to equip facilitators with the tools and confidence to inspire transformation in their participants, using the creativity of permaculture principles and design in all aspects of our lives to build a life sustaining culture.

Steve Cran brings his infamous Green Warriors (Permaculture-Aid Workers’) Program to Ethiopia. This course is a full-on intensive, interactive Training of Trainers Course, equipping the participants with all the skills necessary to train local communities in the developing world how to achieve food securty through permaculture. This induction will be done through action learning: The participants themselves will run a Community Sustainability Course for two local Ethiopian School Communities in the local Konso area of South Ethiopia. The participants will thus be capable of leading community trainings in Permaculture for themselves by the end of the course. Another outcome of the course will be development of plans for Permaculture implementation in the two local communities. Those opting to take the follow-up internship will participate in the implementation of the plans developed by the school communities during the training. This course will not only qualify you to lead Community Sustainability trainings in the future, it will actually result in the initiation two Permaculture schools in South Ethiopia.
