These 6 day courses are for people who attended a PDC -Permaculture Design Course.

Rosemary Morrow is one of the premier Permaculture teacher trainers with 26 years of experience. She is known for her pragmatic and effective approach to creating Permaculture systems across an incredibly broad range of environments. With her experience she brings all the qualification to train others in becoming Permaculture teachers.

Born in Australia Rosemary has successfully implemented community-scale Permaculture systems in various countries. This course is a great opportunity for those who seek to become Permaculture teachers.

Quinta do Vale da Lama is a multifunctional farm of 42ha, situated in the protected area of the estuary of the River Alvor, near Lagos and the beach. This space serves as an experimental ground for sustainable techniques and development.

During eight interactive and information-filled days, Small Planet will be offering a course to enhance your skills in teaching permaculture and to add new information to your curriculum. Held in Friland eco-village, Denmark, the course aims to attract people from across Europe. The 2010 course had people from over 12 countries which led to a very rich experience and great fun! Andy has over 16 years of permaculture teaching experience, edited the Permaculture Teachers Guide and has led a number of train the trainer courses. Steve Cran brings his infamous Green Warriors (Permaculture-Aid Workers’) Program to Ethiopia. This course is a full-on intensive, interactive Training of Trainers Course, equipping the participants with all the skills necessary to train local communities in the developing world how to achieve food securty through permaculture. This induction will be done through action learning: The participants themselves will run a Community Sustainability Course for two local Ethiopian School Communities in the local Konso area of South Ethiopia. The participants will thus be capable of leading community trainings in Permaculture for themselves by the end of the course. Another outcome of the course will be development of plans for Permaculture implementation in the two local communities. Those opting to take the follow-up internship will participate in the implementation of the plans developed by the school communities during the training. This course will not only qualify you to lead Community Sustainability trainings in the future, it will actually result in the initiation two Permaculture schools in South Ethiopia.

If you've ever wanted to inspire others but haven't had the confidence this course is for you.
This course is suitable for all abilities: both apprentice & experienced teachers & also for those who have just completed their Permaculture Design course (PDC). During the course we will be focusing on the tools & techniques for teaching & facilitating permaculture learning & the practicalities of convening & running courses.
We won't be revisiting the topics on a PDC in any depth and so it is recommended that if your permaculture knowledge is a bit rusty that you do some preparatory background reading before the course.
