Give your brain, body, heart and soul a treat by immersing yourself in permaculture at Paddock Farm in the beautiful Colne Valley. A two week summer school, bringing together doers and thinkers who are exploring new ways of living in this time of complexity and uncertainty.

This PDC will take place in Konso, south Ethiopia, from 13th – 25th February 2012, at Strawberry Fields Eco Lodge. It will have a special focus on the application of Permaculture to communities in the developing world and low tech solutions to food establishment in rural and urban schools and communities drawing inspiration from established projects in a range of locations and climate zones around the country.

Using the practical holistic design science of Permaculture, one can learn how to design communities, homes and gardens to integrate harmoniously with nature. Learn by observation to solve problems in a creative and genuinely sustainable way. This certificated and internationally recognised syllabus focuses on solutions and positive, pro-active strategies for all contexts. An added bonus to this course is the opportunity to learn green woodworking skills and spinning and weaving.
