Permaculture Inspired Design without a Permanent Culture.... This is a concept that looks at what we can achieve as permaculturists when we have only limited time or control over the projects that we are working with and how the principles and ethics of permaculture can be applied to situations even where use of a full design process and tools is not appropriate.

This design looks at four different projects where I had either very limited time or very little control over the whole direction of the project or site but still applied permaculture ethics and principles wherever possible. It looks at the possibilities to influence progress and design even where the designer is working with groups or clients that don't know what permaculture is. It introduces the concept of "Active Waiting" meaning biding one's time until the opportunity arises to bring permaculture thinking to the fore in any project.
