Educators Convergence Meeting
Join us for the annual Educators Meeting, the day before this years National Convergence (6-8th September). It is an exciting time for education - we have much to discuss, new developments to learn about and some exciting plans in the permaculture education pipelines.
The Educators meeting is for all those interested in permaculture education, from those trying to figure out how to use permaculture education in their lives or work, to our experienced senior diploma tutors.
If you are working in schools or any educational body, even if you are early on your permaculture journey, please do come along! There will be plenty of information to help aspiring permaculture teachers and focus groups on working with children.
This years educators meeting is being held at Hill End Activity Centre, Oxford. We will have the run of the beautiful venue until the Convergence starts the following day. Hill End hosted a national convergence in the 1990s, so it's exciting to be back after so many years.
Three wonderful meals will be provided (lunch, dinner and breakfast the following morning on the day of the Convergence) and there are facilities for cooking your own food, including a shared BBQ. You have the added bonus of being on site bright and early for the Convergence or having a long lie in, if you are planning to stay for the weekends events.
Accommodation is included in either dorm rooms or camping on site. Facilities include a communal kitchen, living space and a shower block.
Sliding scale tickets available. All ticket prices include meals and either camping or shared dorm accommodation with shared facilities ; kitchen, living and shower block.
