This event aims to bring together all those using permaculture at the edge; pushing that edge; loving that edge. Using and responding creatively to change, using and valuing diversity and producing no waste. Using permaculture with, by and for disadvantaged & marginalised groups where people are creating Thriving Communities.

Permaculture at the edge

This event aims to bring together all those people working using permaculture at the edges of society to create thriving communities where they are. It is for anyone who is working using permaculture to share the benefits and co-design with those who are disadvantaged or living in marginalised communities.

The first meeting of the Thriving Communities network will bring together people and projects using permaculture working in marginalised and disadvantaged communities around the UK. Thriving Communities brings people with a vision, living and working on the edge to help realise the transformation we need to create a more inspiring world. A future in which we co-create the visions we have, right here in our communities.

Pioneers and visionaries

We are delighted to bring together all you pioneers and visionaries to share your own journeys and lessons in creating Thriving Communities across the UK. The workshop will last the full day using case studies, open space and a visioning process to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to contribute to spreading the knowledge, skills and experience and designing the next steps.

This event is invite only but there maybe some places available for others wishing to attend.
