Property for Sale
Hi there People,
I am having a house built soon and should be finished next year August (subject to confirmation) When it is finished I will be moving in and vacating my present cottage and will be ready for sale. I am looking for people who want to express an interest in buying the property.
The cottage is about 120 years old south facing and stone built - it is 480 sq ft - 2 bedrooms, bathroom, (compost toilet) and kitchen/livingroom (solid fuel range-central heating) and a decent loft space which could be converted to a living area. It is situated on an acre of land with two large out-houses - and a greenhouse. The views are spectacular and overlooks the town of Ballinamore (has County Library located there) which is about 5 miles away and sits on the Shannon Erne canal which is the longest canal system in Europe. We have planted fruit and nut trees (Plums, Apple, Meddler, Fig, Kiwi, Quince, Hazelnut) that are about 11 years old now - also their are other trees and fruit bushes. It has electricity supplied - and has telephone connection. Water is collected via a rain water tank where the water is pumped into a tank in the loft and distributed around the house-(there is a local group water scheme that will drawing water for the community from bore holes tapping into spring water which could be connected to at a cost of 700 Euro. At present it is drawing water from a lake)
We are looking for UKP75000 or about 115000 Euro for the property.
