'An Oasis of Sustainable Good Living'. Quinta do Vale da Lama aims to address some of the questions that are raised when we look at the current state of affairs in the global community. Are we heading in the right direction as the human race? What is our place in this world? How can we achieve a true sense of sustainable well-being?

We address these questions through action on the ground, regenerating the land, researching tools and techniques, collecting and evaluating data and providing educational courses and knowledge sharing in practical and participatory ways.

We make use of up to date expertise and er are also experimenting in order to explore a diverse range of avenues towards a truly sustainable future.

Working with the local community and experts from the wider global community helps to provide a bridge between old and new paradigms.
