I first encountered permaculture design in Zimbabwe in 1990 and completed my PDC at 1995 at Centre for Alternative Technology Machynlleth, with Mike Feingold, Chris Dixon and Peter Harper. Since then I have I convened and taught on 19 PDC's and am planning more. I work as part of the Sector39 permaculture partnership, based in Wales in the borders region. I am a forest gardener, community activist, teacher with a very borad experience base. I have a long standing involvement in housing cooperatives and ethical finance and community development. I worked for the Permaculture Association, Centre for Alternative Technology, RISC and now Cwm Harry where I work developing and promoting community gardens, teaching forest gardening and permaculture as well small scale enterprise development.
Sector39 are a group who convene, run and teach Permaculture design and related courses. This is a regular blog on issues, teaching resources links and more, derived from nearly 20 years of working in permaculture.
A social enterprise that uses permaculture design to train people to grow food in their own homes and communities. Work mostly in Hackney, but also doing work in Brighton.
