I am holder of the Diploma in Permaculture Design and now provide tutorial support for those on the Diploma pathway. I run a small permaculture design consultancy called Edible Landscape LLP. Food forests, fish and fungi are particular interests.
At home I am currently creating a back yard aquaponics system.
Information and images of some of the ponds, compost toilets and design services I offer.
I lived and worked for two years at Dyfed Permaculture Farm Trust. Following this I designed and managed a forty acre agroforestry site on the Mendip plateau where I convened courses in sustainable land-use.
Since then I have been providing a permaculture design service to landowners, community groups, regeneration schemes and individuals where food and nutrition are a core concern. My business name is Edible Landscape. In addition to design work I also teach permaculture design, facilitate community land-use decision making and construct elements such as compost toilets.
I have been designing and constructing ponds for over ten years. Currently (2010) I am in the process of creating my own back yard aquaponics system with on-site culturing of feed organisms. I grow shiitake and oyster mushrooms on a variety of substrates and deliver practical workshops on these techniques. I have had a formal training in land management planning.
