I'm the Learning Coordinator at the Permaculture Association. I organise networking & skill-sharing events, support teacher development, collate & develop teaching materials, and coordinate the group visit scheme.
When I'm not at the office I run an organic gardening business called Backyard Organics and teach permaculture.
I hold an MSc Architecture: Advanced Environmental & Energy Studies. My thesis explored the possible impacts of proposed changes to the planning system for Low Impact Developments in rural England & Wales.
I was a contributing author of the Centre for Alternative Technology's 2007 ZeroCarbonBritain report, which explores ways that Britain can become carbon neutral.
I currently act as a director of a low impact, affordable co-housing development in suburban Leeds, called LILAC. We plan to complete the build and move in during the Autumn of 2012.
